to Now Be Yoga, the website of Jo Kemp.
Jo Kemp has been practising, exploring, and studying yoga for the last twenty years, and teaching classes, courses, workshops and retreats for the last ten years.
Her practice and extensive studies originally began in India where she lived, travelled and worked for the best part of the '90s. In 2001 she met Godfrey Devereux and began an extensive and ongoing study of the Dynamic Yoga Training method.
Jo is a passionate devotee of yoga, with a practical, inspirational, yet no frills approach to teaching. Through physically challenging classes that nourish the body/mind and spirit, Jos intention is to communicate the heart of yoga, guiding students inwards on a journey of discovery.
Jo sees and experiences yoga as a way of living, evolving and being, potentially enabling us to live a life of peaceful contentment, with an increased acceptance and ability to relax into the inevitable ups and downs of daily life.
At the heart of life is love, and yoga can profoundly reveal the love within us all, taking us beyond our limitations and sense of separateness to a realisation of the beauty and perfection of our true essential nature.
On this website you will find information about Jos daily Dynamic Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes and personalised oneonone instruction in Sitges, Spain. If you have a young family, your children can enjoy yoga too; bring them along on a dynamic yoga family day or holiday and check the childrens yoga section for weekly classes.
Jo also runs popular and regular Intensive courses and workshops at home and in the UK, and in September 2009 will begin teaching a fully accredited comprehensive 200hr Dynamic Yoga Teacher Training course in Sitges, Spain.
This website is intended to be informative and helpful, answering questions that it can be difficult to find time for in class.
The Dynamic Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama sections outline the principles of the Dynamic Yoga Training Method and touch upon the core of the practice, while the origins and branches sections touch upon the roots of yoga itself.
The Events Calendar and the Facebook page provide easy access and booking information for the latest courses, last minute events and special classes.
Under the Inspirations section, the articles, poems and photo gallery pages are there for pure enjoyment, created as an evolving and spontaneous celebration of life, love and nature through the lens of yoga.
